The AM station is largely NPR, but it also carries BBC-America and a pretty good local 12-2 slot.

Is it lack of money in Atlanta, or is it aversion to a different point of view, that public radio is second class? Whatever, it's too bad.Life Hikerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00183254858386081439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34867261.post-17922832198630189272008-11-29T03:08:00.000-05:002008-11-29T03:08:00.000-05:00My new Impala came with XM radio. I never thought I'd pay to listen to the radio, but after having XM for three weeks, I'm never going back to regular AM/FM again.dr sardonicushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06198551434246302063noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34867261.post-51725490752399944302008-11-28T22:07:00.000-05:002008-11-28T22:07:00.000-05:00Silvio has had a rough couple of days, but now tha...Silvio has had a rough couple of days, but now that we're down to six people he has ventured out of his hiding place, very cautiously.fermicathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06912496005011895707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34867261.post-77350970557604810762008-11-28T18:17:00.000-05:002008-11-28T18:17:00.000-05:00Ah, but when in one's car, one needs the radio, at...Ah, but when in one's car, one needs the radio, at which times I most listen to NPR.

I do need to check out the online stuff on the weekend when I'd normally be listening to the radio for NPR.

How's Silvio?Davehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04411527807049220749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34867261.post-69564757607859449832008-11-28T15:47:00.000-05:002008-11-28T15:47:00.000-05:00I won't be doing any shopping today, other than pe...I won't be doing any shopping today, other than perhaps buying a meal at a restaurant later. I also have not, and do not plan on doing any sort of work for my employer. I am using the wonder of the internet to comment on my friends' blogs and to keep track of multiple football games.

You don't need the radio to hear NPR news programming - just stream it online.fermicathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06912496005011895707noreply@blogger.com
