Now... if you <i>eliminated</i> limits on individual contributions... so that Messrs. Gates, Jobs and Ellison can go out and try to buy themselves some Senators, I'd be more sympathetic. In fact, I'd agree with you and with the Hon. Mr. Barnes. But that's never gonna happen. And so we have PACs and 529s and professional 'bundlers' like Tony Rezko and all this other garbage.
