If nothing else, read the introduction to the piece

I tried to read it all... but my heart hurt to much. Corporations should not have individual rights. It only makes sense...

Found you again! (It's Michelle from Once upon a time, and One Full House) -i've had a few blogs over the years...haha.

New one again, "Knock, knock it's cancer!" - yep you guessed it, I've got diagnosed 2 weeks ago so I'm having some fun blogging about this ridiculous 'journey'...

It's odd how many of my old blogging buddies have dissapeared, I guess that's not odd, life takes over. Glad to see you're still posting. Stopped to say hello.

Hey Michelle, you need to add the stiletto to the logo, it will add a punch to you "still kickin'.

The problem is putting together the kind of money necessary to elect someone dogcatcher in the modern world. Now... if you eliminated limits on individual contributions... so that Messrs. Gates, Jobs and Ellison can go out and try to buy themselves some Senators, I'd be more sympathetic. In fact, I'd agree with you and with the Hon. Mr. Barnes. But that's never gonna happen. And so we have PACs and 529s and professional 'bundlers' like Tony Rezko and all this other garbage. And in such a cockeyed world, corporate speech doesn't seem as absurd as it should.

I wouldn't have a problem with your trio spending big bucks to get "their" candidates elected; and, saying so takes a bit of the air out of part of my ire with corporate political spending - that it makes average individual speech and political contributions ineffective - because it would have the same effect.

But, Citizens United as it stands ,will lead to the corporatization of our government, if we aren't already there.
