I'm Pissed
A few minutes ago I was midway through doing a post. Google told me it was unable to establish a connection with Blogger and that I should test the connection. Blogger said it was down for maintenance. Result: post lost. Moral of the story: compose in Word, then copy and paste.

I do everything in a text editor first. (I'm partial to MetaPad).
I'm a Word person. Plus, then I have all my posts saved just in case the whole Blogger thing goes kersplody and I lose everything. Thanks so much for writing, Dave. I look forward to reading it every day. Cheers.
Thanks Hedy. By the way, I'm going to have to deal with withdrawal when you finish the Obama book since I won't be able to enjoy the lastest riff on his name. Anyone else reading this comment, go to hedyblog.blogspot.com and read the last section of each post.
