Oh my. If I never hear the term "cut and run" again, it will be too soon. Ditto for "up or down vote".
Bush's interpretation of the lessons of Vietnam: Until we've lost 50,000+ and been there 15 years, the Iraqi "surge" hasn't been given enough of a chance to work.
Yes indeed...very rosy! ;-)
For some, the lessons of Vietnam were "drop more bombs next time" and "keep the media under control".
Some people never learn. Problem is, we seem to keep electing those same people...
