Happy Easter

The picture shows last year's participants in a little known Augusta National tradition - the Easter Egg Hunt. As you can see, most of the participants are waiting for the signal to converge on the lighter green grass area (otherwise known as the 16th Green) where the eggs are placed. HAPPY EASTER!

Dave - that doesn't look like much of a sporting hunt to me...

It must be a little hard to hide the eggs on the 16th green?, and does everyone close their eyes and use the honor system when they hide the eggs?

That is my type of Easter egg hunt.

I forgot to lay out the rest of the rules. The hunt takes place during a practice round. The golfers are off to the back right of the picture across the pond on the tee box.

As they hit shots onto the green, the patrons have to dodge the golf balls to get to the eggs. The golfers consider it great sport.

Fuel line fixed yet?

I agree with Ryan. The 16th green? What kind of a challenge is that. Unless of course where talking about "Full-contact Easter Egg Hunting". Perhaps the WWEEHF!

Dave, it's midnight here, and I'm still trying to get my list of things done - I didn't fix the fuel line.

Thank you for clarifying the rules... I actually had to do a little digging after I left my comment. I knew I must have missed a large piece of the puzzle. As you may have noticed, that is not something new to me.

I learned all sorts of things today about Augusta.

That looks like fun!

Dave, there's an old saying that "there's never a bad day on the golf course", but some of the Masters contestants today would no doubt dispute its reliability.

Augusta National Golf Club is probably the model for God's Heavenly Links, but today the Devil had his day. Only Tiger seemed to come out ahead, as his rivals folded, one by one, down the stretch. Sunday will be an historic shoot-out among the azaleas!

What could be better than a spring day when all us northern duffers see a preview of what our courses will kinda look like in early June and dream of maybe shooting in the 70's just one more time, this year!

"...dream of maybe shooting in the 70's just one more time, this year!"

My version, "shooting in the 70's just once, maybe this year."

My best round ever was eleven over. Eternal optimist that I am, I figure I could get close to a 200 for a round with this year's conditions at The Masters.
