Guest Post

A friend, Tony (but not Big Tony) sent me an Email. With his permission, here it is:

Back in 1990, the Government seized the Mustang Ranch brothel in Nevada for tax evasion and, as required by law, tried to run it. They failed and it closed.

So now we’re trusting the economy of our country to a pack of nit-wits who couldn't make money running a whore house and selling booze?

This post got a big chuckle out of me -so true, Dave, so true! These are the same people trying to run the government, and our lives then too by default, who preach to us about economy and such, require bids for work with the contracts supposedly going to the lowest bidder and then, some how manage to turn around and purchase extremely overpriced things -like commodes, hammers, etc., for use in their offices, etc. That's only one tiny example of our "leadership" at work. Corruption and the correcting of that -if left to government officials to curb it -think 700B bailout here -is just more foxes in the hen house. The fact they couldn't manage a house of ill repute and a bar should come of no surprise either then.
