Saturday Showers
Golf is a no go today given the rain that according to radar reaches back west to Alabama. So, I have nothing to do, other than things I don't want to do, cleaning, laundry, etc. Instead, I'll drink coffee, surf and listen to Weekend Edition.

good plan.
I took some time off from the plan to eat breakfast. Now it's Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me and it's still raining.
Sounds like a good Saturday
Perfect excuse to listen to NPR shows in the morning and then watch college football all afternoon (and evening). Topped it off with a big pot of chili, mmmmmmmmm.
It has been a good day. I watched Florida squeak by Tennessee. I'm skipping Georgia and watching The Shawshank Redemption.
We're thinking the same Fermi, it's about time for chili and soups. I went on line to get some recipes for clam chowder - assuming it's raining in the morning, I'll be buying the stuff to make it.
I think you can safely assume it's gonna keep raining for days. We're still watching multiple games.
Georgia winning?
Brooksie just got paroled and hung himself. Andy locked himself in and played an opera for the prison.
Morgan Freeman (Red) just said "hope can drive a man insane."
They got behind early, but pulled ahead at the half. We are, of course, rooting for the Hogs.
Petrino? Tech and all, that's just not right.
It's only for one Saturday. Petrino is a scumbag, but I just can't root for UGA. Ever.
Wow, this game is a shootout. 34-28 (UGA ahead) with 7:51 to go in the 3rd.
Okay. Still....
We're crossing comments, damn Blogger or Internet or something. The damn still was for the response to my Petrino comment. I should figure out how to work the split picture function on the TV.
My bad. I did two in a row!
Still a shootout. Wrong guys on top. We are also watching Texas/Texas Tech, which is a defensive showdown. Not what I expected out of either game. Weird.
I'm rooting for Texas. Tim Robbins just broke out, the Warden's about to go down.
Great movie.
I'm rooting for underdogs today, for the most part. Was happy to see some upsets.
Morgan is with Tim in Mexico. Bedtime for me - hoping for a clear golf window in the morning.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
The Tour Championship is again going to be played in a mud puddle. So sad.
You guys are getting all the rain while we New Yorker's are dry as a bone. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a happy medium for the weather?
